Members wishing to get copies of  Smiths Falls This Week can pick them up,  
for example, at the Elgin or other Rideau Lakes Post Offices or at the IGA in Smiths Falls.   Or  download any given issue from  the publisher by logging onto their web site and signing in  (be aware that this will give you a large pdf file).

Guidelines for member submissions:

All members are encouraged to submit photos, even if one of their images was recently selected (We no longer require a "wait time").

Submissions  must be 4" by 6" colour prints.   Members are encouraged to be creative but submissions should be in keeping with the season, to maximize newspaper interest.  Also bear in mind that the reproduction quality of newspapers is not great, so the image needs some real contrast in it.    

Submissions  are laid out on a table for viewing at the beginning of our meetings  and the pic-of-the-month is selected by anonymous ballot.   To maintain the continuity of our relationship with the publication, we will select several images at the June meeting to cover our July-August break.

In order to meet publication deadlines, members whose photos are selected must submit an electronic copy to the chairperson no later than the morning after our meeting.
